Establishment
The Company’s Investment Committee (“the Committee”) was established by the Executive Order No. 03/2024 to assist the Executives in fulfilling its obligations by developing investment policies and schemes that will help the Forum with recommendations that align with the objectives of the Forum:
The Committee has the primary function of oversight of the Company’s investment portfolio.
Quorum
- The quorum necessary for the transaction of business shall be three.
- A duly convened meeting of the Committee at which a quorum is present shall be competent to exercise all or any of the authorities, powers and discretions vested or exercisable by the Committee.
Roles and mandate
- The investment Committee shall be the body managing all the investment portfolios of the Caucus Forum as and when they shall be unveiled
- The Committee will manage all the Caucus Forum’s Investment Projects and ensure they are effectively implemented.
- Shall act as the Economic Advisors to the Executive on all economic and investment related matters.
- Advise the Executive on the appropriate investment ventures that will appropriately meet the objectives of the forum.
- Approve investment plans, policies and recommend necessary schemes that align with the mandate of the forum.
- Develop investment policies
- Review, challenge and approve investment decisions.
- Maintain oversight and provide review and challenge the changes to investment operating model
- Provide guidance to the Executive on investment strategy and ensure they align with the objectives of the forum.
- To provide monthly progress reports to the CF Secretary General’s office
